Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia Pty Ltd, trading as Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia, is a service company which supports a number of independent anaesthetic practices. Currently 29 anaesthetists utilise this service and the number is growing to meet demand. The anaesthetists practice in association to facilitate the provision of a comprehensive around the clock service .
Workload is shared to cover the elective commitments as well as emergencies and after hours on-call responsibilities. Anaesthesia services are provided to over 180 surgeons and other specialist medical providers.
WTA anaesthetists provide anaesthetic services at a number of medical and surgical facilities around the central and greater Brisbane area. The central hub and main campus of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia Pty Ltd is situated at:

This centre serves as the main administrative hub for bookings and accounts, but also provides specialist consultation rooms.
A satellite campus with administrative support and consultation rooms is co-located at the Holy Spirit Northside Hospital.

The practice was established in 1959 when Dr. Gavan Carroll joined forces with Dr. Sadie McLeod and Dr. Hugh Connelly and rooms opened at The Brisbane Clinic on Wickham Terrace.
