The practitioners of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia are able to provide the following services to our referring surgeons, proceduralists and patients.
Members of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia are accredited at many hospitals, day care units and facilities in the Central and Greater Brisbane area across the complete range of anaesthetic specialties.
We are able to see patients pre- and post operatively in a hospital setting as required, as well as provide for their total intra-operative anaesthetic care.
If required, we are able to arrange to see patients prior to their procedure in our rooms to discuss anaesthetic issues. This will usually be required only for complex medical cases or surgeries and after consultation with your surgeon and other treating specialists.

A number of anaethetists of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia have a special interest in paediatric anaesthetic practice and have undertaken further advanced training in their discipline.
Obstetric Anaesthesia is more commonly being recognized as a separate specialist area within the discipline. Some anaesthetists of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia have a special interest in obstetric anaesthetic practice including pain relief during labour and have a regular obstetric workload.
Some anaesthetists of Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia have a special interest in cardiac anaesthetic practice +/- perfusion and have undertaken further advanced training in their discipline. These anaesthetists within WTA maintain a regular, and in some cases, near exclusive cardiac anaesthetic practice.
