BACKGROUND
Dr PirroneĀ completed her undergraduate medical training in James Cook University in 2011. Her anaesthetic training was completed at Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals, The Townsville Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and The Queensland Children’s Hospital. She completed her fellowship year in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK in trauma, maxillofacial and hepatobiliary surgery. She gained her Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2020.

Currently she is a staff specialist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and also works privately at several private hospitals in Brisbane.

OTHER INTERESTS
Dr Pirrone enjoys travelling, hiking and camping with family and friends. She also enjoys travelling to North Queensland to visit her family in Ayr.
