BACKGROUND
Dr Padhy completed her undergraduate medical training at Monash University in Melbourne in 2011 and has since worked across a multitude of metropolitan and regional centres in Queensland. She is particularly passionate about Paediatric Anaesthesia and peri-operative anxiety management and has undertaken an additional fellowship in tertiary Paediatric Anaesthesia at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, after achieving her FANZCA (Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists).

Dr Padhy currently combines her private practice with her role as staff specialist at the Gold Coast Hospital Health Service, where she maintains a breadth of anaesthetic practice caring for Paediatric, Obstetric and adult patients, across a wide range of surgical specialities. She is actively involved in medical education and welfare, and has a passion for aid-work anaesthesia, volunteering with Deadly Ears in Rural Queensland and Operation Smile internationally.

Dr Padhy is a compassionate Anaesthetist and ensures safe, individualised, high-quality care for her patients, to optimise their perioperative journey.

OTHER INTERESTS
In her spare time, Dr Padhy enjoys adventures and exploring the outdoors with her family and Great Dane, playing tennis, gardening, hiking, scuba diving, and travelling.
