BACKGROUND
Dr Bartlett graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and completed his specialist anaesthesia training across several tertiary hospitals in south-east Queensland. He went on to undertake a fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, with subspecialty training in anaesthesia for upper gastrointestinal, bariatric, and hepatobiliary surgery.
Dr Bartlett is a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he provides care for a diverse range of patients across many surgical subspecialties. Dedicated to teaching and mentorship, Dr Bartlett supervises and educates trainee anaesthetists, serving as both an examination tutor and a UQ Associate Lecturer in Clinical Medicine.
Dr Bartlett is dedicated to ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their surgical journey, while providing the highest standard of care and fostering a collaborative, positive environment in the operating theatre.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of work, Dr Bartlett enjoys spending time with his daughters, playing soccer, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
