BACKGROUND
Dr Pollock completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Southampton, graduating in 1996. He undertook his specialist training in the United Kingdom and is dual qualified in both Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, gaining specialist accreditation in both disciplines in 2007. After relocating to Australia he was awarded his Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM). He has since completed a Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Ultrasound and is a Graduate of the Chapter of Perioperative Medicine.

Dr Pollock works full time in the public sector, where he is the Director of an Intensive Care Unit as well as a specialist anaesthetist, and also works part time in private anaesthetic practice. His anaesthetic practice spans a range of surgical specialties, with particular interests in robotic surgery, neurosurgery and major joint replacement surgery.

OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of work, Dr Pollock enjoys spending time with his family and travelling.
