SPECIAL INTERESTS IN ANAESTHESIA
Anaesthesia for Spinal, Upper and Lower Limb Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery.

BACKGROUND
Dr Ghidella completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Queensland in 1998 where he graduated with second class honors. He commenced his Anaesthetic training in Queensland, performed a year of training overseas in the UK specialising in regional and Maxillofacial Anaesthesia. After finishing his Anaesthetic training in 2006, he was a full time consultant with Qld health where he took on the active role of supervisor of training.

Dr Ghidella is now in private practice in Brisbane and is a practicing VMO at Qld Health.

His scope of practice includes both elective and emergency Anaesthesia. He has an interest in Hyperbaric and Perioperative medicine.

OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of consulting, Dr Ghidella enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 children and 2 mini schnauzers. He coaches his children’s soccer teams and also has a keen interest in maintaining and renovating old Queenslanders.
