BACKGROUND
Dr Bartlett graduated medical school from the University of Queensland in 2012 and completed his specialist anaesthesia training at several tertiary hospitals in south-east Queensland. Subsequently, he pursued a fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, sub-specialising in anaesthesia for upper gastrointestinal, bariatric, and hepatobiliary surgery. Dr Bartlett currently works as a staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he sees a diverse range of patients including adults, obstetrics and paediatric cases across a large variety of surgical subspecialties. Passionate about teaching and mentorship, he enjoys supervising and educating trainee anaesthetists, especially in his roles as examination tutor and UQ Associate Lecturer in Clinical Medicine.
Dr Bartlett strives to make patients feel at ease before surgery, providing the highest quality care while fostering a congenial working environment for all members of the operating team.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of medicine, Dr Bartlett enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and creating new recipes in the kitchen.
