SPECIAL INTERESTS IN ANAESTHESIA
Anaesthesia for Ophthalmic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Paediatric Surgery.

BACKGROUND
Dr Donaldson completed her undergraduate medical degree with honours at The University of Queensland in 1999. She completed her specialist anaesthetic training in Queensland with a fellowship in paediatric anaesthesia at the Royal Children’s Hospital and went on to achieve her Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2008.

Dr Donaldson joined Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia in 2009, she currently works in both public and private practice at several hospitals throughout Brisbane.

She is the Clinical Lead for the perioperative anxiety service and anaesthesia for oncology at The Queensland Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia Australia and New Zealand (SPANZA) and Co-chair of the perioperative anxiety special interest group for SPANZA.

OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of work, Dr Donaldson enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and trying to improve her skills paddling her ocean ski.
