Dr Parameswaran grew up in Hobart, studying at the University of Tasmania where he completed his science and medical degrees in 2004. He moved to Brisbane in 2007 where he commenced his specialist training in anaesthesia. This included a provisional fellowship in simulation and education at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

A passion for cardiothoracic anaesthesia led Dr Parameswaran and his family to the United Kingdom in 2013 where he worked as a clinical fellow at the Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. After spending time gaining invaluable experience caring for people requiring heart and lung surgery, he returned home where he now works in public and private practice as a specialist anaesthetist at a number of hospitals throughout Brisbane.

Dr Parameswaran’s practice covers a diverse range of specialties in adult anaesthesia. He takes pride in providing personalised compassionate care for all of his patients.

Dr Parameswaran loves cars, video games, unnecessary gadgets and pouring the perfect shot of coffee.
