Cardiac, Vascular, Hepatobiliary and major General Surgery.

BACKGROUND
Dr Nowitz completed her anaesthetic training in Wellington, New Zealand. She then worked at the University of Washington Medical Centre in Seattle, USA for two years in cardiac and thoracic anaesthesia and achieved Board Certification in transoesophageal echocardiography. After moving to Australia, Dr Nowitz worked for two years exclusively in cardiac anaesthesia at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Since 2004 she has provided anaesthesia for cardiac, vascular, hepatobiliary and major general surgery and routine endoscopy, working in both public and private practice in Brisbane.

OTHER INTERESTS
Dr Nowitz enjoys sport, exercise, flying and reading.
