Paediatric Anaesthesia, Anaesthesia for ENT, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
BACKGROUND
Dr Vickerman completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Otago in 2004. She then moved to Australia and completed her anaesthetic training in Queensland. She completed a 12 month fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesia working at both the Royal Children’s Hospital and Mater Children’s Hospital. She also completed a 6 month fellowship in obstetric and adult anaesthesia at the Mater Adults Hospital and achieved her FANZCA in 2014.
Dr Vickerman’s practice includes a broad range of paediatric and adult anaesthesia, including work with the preoperative anxiety service. She is also strongly involved in Welfare for Anaesthetists.
OTHER INTERESTS
In her spare time, Dr Vickerman enjoys running, snorkelling and has dabbled in triathlons at times. She has a busy life with 3 children but also loves good food, wine and travelling.
