BACKGROUND
Dr Richardson completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Queensland in 1993 and began his career in anaesthesia in 1997 at the Bundaberg Base Hospital. He then went on to complete his formal training in 2003, after working at The Ipswich Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Cairns Hospital and The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Richardson works in private practice providing anaesthesia for most adult surgical procedures. His scope of practice includes cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, endoscopic procedures, neurosurgery and spinal procedures as well as many other specialties.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of medicine Dr Richardson enjoys music and a busy family life.
