BACKGROUND
Dr Elms completed her undergraduate medical training at The University of Queensland. She began training as anaesthetist in 2001 in Melbourne, then returned to Brisbane.
Dr Elms has worked in public and private anaesthesia in Brisbane since 2005.

Dr Elms has a special interest in improving airway safety. She researches, publishes and presents in this field. She also has an active role in the education of medical trainees, colleagues and other perioperative team members

OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of medicine, Dr Elms is a keen gardener, traveller and enjoys multiday walks.
