BACKGROUND
Dr Pincus completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2004 before moving to Brisbane. He has completed all his specialist training in Queensland and is dual qualified in both Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, gaining his fellowships in 2012 and 2014 respectively. He currently works as a senior staff specialist in both Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) as well as his private anaesthetic practice.
Dr Pincus has experience in trauma and major resuscitation and is one of the medical leads of the Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) program at the RBWH. His anaesthetic practice is in most of the surgical sub-specialties including major GI, ENT, Urology, Neurosurgery, Maxillo-facial and Obstetric procedures. He is actively involved in medical education at all levels of training and has a strong passion for delivering excellent patient care.
OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of consulting, Dr Pincus enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his family and 3 sons.
