Dr Linda Wells
SPECIAL INTERESTS IN ANAESTHESIA
Dr Wells completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1990. After working at various Queensland hospitals, including as a paediatric registrar at the Mater Children’s Hospital, she began her formal anaesthetic training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) in 1995.
She completed her final provisional fellowship year in paediatric anaesthesia at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in 1999 and then went on to obtain her Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College Anaesthesia (FANZCA).
After working in Sydney at St Vincent’s Hospital and other private hospitals during 2000, she returned to Brisbane to join Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia in 2001. She practices in general adult anaesthesia but also continues her interest in paediatric anaesthesia employed as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Queensland Children’s Hospital (LCCH).
Whenever possible, Dr Wells enjoys pilates, musicals and ballet, and travelling with her family
