BACKGROUND
Dr Baker Jones completed his undergraduate medical training at James Cook University. He undertook specialist anaesthetic training in Queensland at the Mater Hospital, Cairns Base Hospital, Lifeflight and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. After gaining his fellowship of the Australian College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) he completed further subspecialty paediatric anaesthesia training at the Queensland Children’s Hospital

Dr Baker Jones currently works in both public and private practice at several hospitals. He is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and is an associate lecturer with the University of Queensland.

OTHER INTERESTS
Outside of medicine Dr Baker Jones enjoys Scuba Diving, recreational aviation and skiing.
