Dr Stephen Daglish

BSc (First class Hons), MBBS, FANZCA.

BACKGROUND
Dr Daglish grew up in North East England. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, London in 2003. Having started surgical training in England, he switched to Anaesthesia and moved to Australia. Dr Daglish undertook anaesthesia training in South-East Queensland, completing his Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2014.

Dr Daglish is a Senior Staff Specialist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he provides anaesthesia for most of the surgical sub-specialities, including General, Urology, Plastics, Burns, Neurosurgery, Maxillofacial, ENT and Major Head and Neck surgery.

Dr Daglish enjoys teaching and is the supervisor for the Orthopaedic specialized study unit of the ANZCA training programme.

Outside of work Dr Daglish enjoys walking and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
